Originally published as "Journal and Remarks", this book by Darwin is a vivid and exciting travel memoir and well as a detailed scientific journal that shows Darwin's keen powers of observation. Theme: Darwin's 150th anniversary of the publishing of "On the Origin of Species"
March 23, 2009: 1000 Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseni - Take a look at Afghan society between 1964 and 2003 seen through the eyes of two indomitable women. It's about power.
